Authorities recovered several knives at the scene and are searching for two young men, believed to be the attackers, who fled among the crowd. The AirBnB property had been booked for a small family gathering but was used for a party of over 100 people. Police have confirmed there was no evidence of gunfire, despite initial reports.

Yeah, very intense, it's not something you think you're going to see. The gutter on Sedgman Crescent turned emergency room, police first on scene working to stop the bleeding before paramedics take over. It's shocking and police have recovered a number of knives at that location, I don't understand why young people carry knives. The attackers believed to be two young Sudanese men amongst the swarms of people fleeing the scene on foot. Riot police and the dog squad called in to control the crowds. There was two young fellas that walked past home and I overheard one of them say I've just stabbed him. Police tonight working to determine if they crashed the party or made the invite list. The AirBnB was booked just hours before the party, the booking for quote, a family catch-up of three people. The AirBnB owner telling 10 News he only realised the seriousness of what unfolded when we reached out to him for comment. Neighbours putting in a call to triple zero earlier in the night for underage drinking before. We heard someone say there's a gun, there's a gun and then there was a flash while I was on the phone to police. But today police confirmed there was no evidence to suggest a shot had been fired.
