The pursuit of a stolen vehicle ended in Brentwood on Friday morning after officers conducted a PIT maneuver.

A pursuit involving a stolen vehicle in Brentwood, Los Angeles, was brought to an end by the LAPD using a PIT (Pursuit Intervention Technique) maneuver. The chase, which took place at slow speeds through surface streets, involved four occupants in the suspect vehicle. 

The PIT maneuver caused the deployment of airbags in an officer's vehicle, and the suspect vehicle was left in reverse after the stop. Following the maneuver, the driver exited the vehicle and appeared to interact with officers at the scene. Authorities responded with caution and had less-than-lethal options available during the arrest.

When that happened, we saw it live, but definitely a scarier situation and that driver seems to really have some kind of attitude about what is going on down there and still again. You know, they're not taking this at lightly at all. They definitely have less than lethal available to them. But if this attitude and aggression continues, we're going to be very careful on how we show this. But again, I hope those officers are right. We did see the airbags being deployed in those vehicles in that vehicle, and then the doors popping open that driver jumping out almost immediately, and I thought she was on the phone, but it looks like she's just holding her ears right there. I'm gonna get a tighter shot just for a few moments. Yeah, definitely. This woman's having Oh, taunting officers right now.
