Students from Rutgers University in New Jersey speak out against radical bias.

Two members of the Rutgers University Turning Point USA chapter, Ava Kwan and Megan Doyle, have publicly discussed their experiences of bias and harassment on campus due to their conservative views. They allege that certain professors and university staff have promoted rhetoric that puts conservative students at risk and that administrative actions have been taken against them following their opposition to a faculty member accused of supporting Antifa ideology.

The students report receiving threats and being subject to doxxing and harassment, and claim that university procedures have been selectively enforced to remove them from leadership positions within their organization. They express concern over what they describe as an increasingly hostile environment for conservative students at Rutgers.

Ava Kwan, the Outreach Director Coordinator of Rutgers University Turning Point USA Chapter. Also joining us, Megan Doyle, the Treasurer of Rutgers University Turning Point USA Chapter as well. Thank you again. And first, I wanna start with you, Ava. So sorry for your loss of your friend, Charlie Kirk, the founder of TPUSA. And when you see Rutgers professors donating to a man accused of promoting Antifa ideology, what does that mean to you? Well, I think for many conservative students across America, I believe the assassination of Charlie Kirk was a huge wake-up call. You know, this is the time where we need to make our voices heard. We need to speak up for our beliefs and speak the truth boldly as much as we can. And I believe that sadly that we're living in a time now where there are many people on the left who want to silence conservatives. And there are some that even want to see us dead. You know, we saw this recently with the Jay Jones text messages that were leaked. We saw this with the Charlie Kirk assassination itself, where right on the bullet casings, it said, hey, fascist catch. You know, and this type of rhetoric, this type of language is what got Charlie Kirk killed. And this is the type of language that Dr. Antifa is promoting in his classrooms on the New Jersey taxpayer dime. Wow. Yeah, people in New Jersey are paying for this and incredibly scary. Public funds. Megan, you said when you have a teacher that so often promotes political violence, we believe that it puts conservative students at risk for Antifa to come in. Tell us what is it like in the climate that you're living in? And is it fair to say there's fear for anyone who disagrees with the far left narrative? I mean, yes, there is. I mean, there is reason to be scared. I mean, you have people that, you have a teacher that promotes such violent rhetoric. You have a teacher that will call anybody a fascist and they believe that if you call somebody a fascist or you believe that they're white supremacists, then they deserve to have political violence instated on them and that's not fair. And with the political climate in the university, it's scary because people are, I mean, my friend Ava Kwan has been doxed. I mean, we have been harassed. I recently got an email that stated that I was a fascist and how would I feel if I got that threats myself, even though I have stated before that. And me and Ava, we do not condone that threats. So it's really disheartening to just see that happening, especially on our campus and the effect that's happening on us. I'm really sorry that has happened to you because I am hearing so many instances of this happening. Obviously we work at Newsmax and in terms of other conservatives who are out there, they're experiencing a lot of the same. This is not being made up. Antifa is real despite the fact that the left says no, they're not. They're an organized terrorist group. So again, I'm really, really sorry that has happened, but they call themselves anti-fascist, but ironically, they're totally wrong. Their actions are fascist behavior involving intimidation, vandalism, threats, as you just described, violence against anyone who disagrees with them. So Ava, I wanna hear from you too, your perspective as a student. Do you think professors sympathize with what's going on, what you guys are experiencing? Yeah, unfortunately the response that we've gotten from the school is not great. Just a couple of days ago, Megan and I had received a screenshot from our directive of student involvement, basically demanding that Megan and I be relieved of our executive board positions on turning point. This was, I know it was a complete, no, it's all right. We had the same reaction. We've just been completely randomly investigated just this past week into our chapter and have stated that we're currently ineligible to hold our positions based on a technicality of our students' statuses. So it's just been a complete selective enforcement of Rutgers procedure. It's been completely unfair and unjust on both Megan and I. We've never had an issue with our status as E-board members up until this moment, up until our public opposition for Dr. Antifa. So this is clearly just a political move by this director at the school. It's completely unfair. It's completely unjust. So unfair. I mean, unfortunately we have to leave it there, but I just, again, want to say, I'm sorry this is happening to you. You guys are both incredibly brave to keep up fighting the good fight. You are great representations of Charlie Kirk's legacy. And I'm praying that we will move beyond this situation with Antifa and President Trump will protect us all, but stay safe as well in everything you're doing. Thank you for joining us. Thank you.
