Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky condemned the attacks and expressed condolences to the victims' families. The strikes also damaged hospitals and sports infrastructure in several districts.

The city's mayor Vitaly Klitschko told reporters at the scene that he hoped the death toll would not climb any higher. We didn't let the child down. Everything was on fire. We didn't see the neighbor's house because everything was in smoke. The cars were shaking, the wheels were popping from the temperature. It was scary. We came from another district because two small children were trapped next door. We don't know how they survived. We are looking for them, but I don't see them. Maybe the ambulance took them. Overall, officials say more than two dozen people were injured in the attacks on Kyiv. Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky condemned the attack as completely cynical and offered his condolences to victims' families.
