The U.S-brokered ceasefire deal in Gaza is holding, after Hamas released the remaining Israeli hostages.

Hamas has stated it will transfer the bodies of two deceased Israeli hostages to the Red Cross in the central Gaza Strip, following recent excavations. The transfer comes amid ongoing hostilities and claims by Hamas that previous handovers were delayed due to alleged Israeli ceasefire violations.

Meanwhile, Israel's military has conducted strikes in southern Lebanon, targeting Hezbollah infrastructure, resulting in at least one fatality. If the two hostages' remains are returned as planned, 11 Israeli hostages would still remain in Gaza, most of whom are young men.
