Police are confronting scenes, leaving first responders visibly distraught and witnesses shaken, including two young women who called emergency services after seeing one of the boys in the water. He smelt like a lot of fuel, and then we saw this guy's head pop out of the water, and I was like, are you okay? And he goes like, help, help. He was like three or four metres away from us, like he was too far for us to grab. Thank God that we were sitting there because, you know, it's dark, he was wearing all black, we wouldn't have been able to see him. As we came down, there was a lot of people just surrounding the area, two policemen swam out, got the body. Guy getting dragged out, apparently on the back of the cop's back, yeah, it was pretty crazy.
