In the Gaza Strip they have made no secret they want to conquer the enclave and push the Palestinians to leave. If we evacuate 10,000 people a day from Gaza it will take six months, if we evacuate 5,000 a day it will take a year. I continue to demand the occupation of Gaza and the collapse of Hamas. Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu has not officially mentioned plans for Israeli settlers to move into Gaza. But some fervent far right supporters regularly organise marches nearby, and demand that the enclave become theirs. We are ready with our children to move into the Gaza area right away. The far right ministers also have their eyes on the occupied West Bank. I think the village of Huara should be wiped off the map, I think it's up to the state of Israel to do it. In the short term they want to increase the number of Israeli settlements, which are illegal under international law. In the long term they want to annex the territory. As for holy places, far right leaders have regularly caused controversy. Ben Gvir even led a Jewish prayer at the Al Aqsa mosque, violating a 1967 agreement that says only Muslims are allowed to pray at the site. Netanyahu has not encouraged such acts, but to stay in power the Prime Minister needs these ultra-nationalists and supremacists to maintain a majority. Itmar Ben Gvir and Bezalel Smotrich know this and use it to their advantage, threatening to resign and bring down the ruling coalition if Netanyahu doesn't go their way.
