How good does this feel? Wow yeah no it's unreal. It's awesome I mean the Aussie fans are out here in numbers it's unreal to see. With Mark Marquez absent from Phillip Island there was a sense of opportunity for the rest of the grid. Fabio Quattoraro nabbed pole in style while Marco Bettecchi was frustrated during qualifying in his warm-up lap mother nature tried to clip his wings. Yeah it was pretty pretty hard because at the beginning I hit a big bird unfortunately for him especially but also for me because I got scared. Raul Fernandez made a fantastic start as he looked to capitalise and that only looked to get better on lap six. Snatched that place back oh Bettecchi goes charging down the hill in a turn 10 it was almost disaster there. Aldeguerre lost control while Peko Bunyai as woes continued he finished all the way back in 19th as Bettecchi took control with three laps remaining. Here comes Betts into the southern loop we go on that change of direction. From there he flew away while the hometown hero looked for the thrilling finish. Oh man that's brave that is oh super brave it looks like it's not going to work out. But it finished as a Bettecchi blitz he won't have it quite as easy tomorrow serving a double long lap penalty to start. Lucas Ronaldo 10 news.
