Police in Mount Druitt, New South Wales, are searching for three individuals believed to have assisted in the fatal stabbing of Zach McRae at the local bus station. The incident, which occurred four months prior to the recent court appearance of accused Blake Knight, is suspected to be linked to ongoing gang-related disputes in Greater Western Sydney.

Blake Knight and Rose Storo, both 19, have been arrested and charged in connection with the attack. Authorities assert that the victim, Zach McRae, was not affiliated with any street gangs and are appealing to the public for information to help identify the remaining suspects.

Blake Knight is accused of dealing the fatal blow. The 19-year-old's case was briefly heard in court today after he was arrested last week, four months on from when Mr McRae was killed at the Mount Druitt bus station. He'd been out to dinner with 19-year-old Vimla Shand, injured after Knight allegedly stabbed him in the arm during the attack. Police claim Rose Storo was driving the getaway car, the 19-year-old in custody after she was arrested in Dapdo late last year and charged with murder. But now police are hunting this trio, also accused of helping Knight set upon the two young men in a targeted attack over turf. We believe it has links to the postcode wars from Greater Western Sydney. Detectives allege the offenders are linked to the 6-7 gang from Doonside and believed McRae and Shand were members of Mount Druitt rivals ready for anything, potentially a deadly mistake. Our victim as far as we're aware was an innocent person who wasn't affiliated with any street gangs. They were just some young kids who were enjoying the night out and making their way home. Police say the two accused are refusing to name their alleged associates so they're turning to the public for help identifying the trio who have been warned.
