A man was rushed to the hospital in critical condition following a police chase and shooting in Cleveland's Buckeye Shaker neighborhood. The incident, which took place around 10:30 p.m., involved multiple vehicles and resulted in significant damage to the area, including debris and tire tracks left behind from the crash.

Eyewitness Anthony Jackson, who captured video of the aftermath, reported hearing approximately 50 gunshots and described the scene as chaotic, with police ordering the injured man to exit his vehicle. Authorities are still investigating the circumstances leading up to the incident, and further updates are expected as more information becomes available.

We all know what that sounds like. A witness describing the wild scene that played out in his Cleveland Buckeye Shaker neighborhood. Cleveland D. M. S. Confirms a man was rushed to the hospital after a police chase and shooting. Mike Holden has been at that scene all morning long and Mike, you just got some new video from this witness video and interview. You will only see right here on News five Tiffany breaking within the last hour. I had the chance to speak with an eyewitness. His name is Anthony Jackson. He's lived here for the last eight years and he said the scene he watched unfold from his upstairs bedroom looked like something out of the video game Grand Theft Auto. I mean just police everywhere. A man screaming, screaming that he could not comply with their orders because he had been shot multiple times. And here's a look at the aftermath. This is the tree lawn right here along south Moreland. It is all torn apart. You can see the tire tracks and then focus in over here. Photojournalist Dave Kraska. All of these broken pieces and parts from the cars, several cars crashing right over here following this chase and pursuit. But come close to your TV because I want you to see this. Look at this video. This is video you are only going to see right here on News five. Good morning, Cleveland. Anthony Jackson captured this video on his cell phone moments after he says he heard upwards of 50 gunshots back to back to back following what he says was a police pursuit crash and shootout. Before all of this was playing out, he said he was upstairs playing his guitar. He heard the commotion, he heard the crashes and then that gunfire caused him to literally drop and duck for cover. And what he says, one of the craziest incidents he's ever experienced right here along south Moreland in the Buckeye Shaker neighborhood. This all happened around 10 30 Tuesday evening and he said he wasn't sure what was happening. But what he noticed was the nonstop gunfire and then police screaming for this person to get out of the car and try to comply with orders. But he says this man was so disoriented and clearly in so much pain he didn't know what to do. He also pointed out that a number of cars were involved in this incident. In the video you're seeing, you can actually check out right here that they're heavily damaged in the one particular car that he says police were apparently pursuing was so damaged that it was missing one of the tires. All of the other tires were literally just on their rims and he says it was a crazy situation. He says, thankfully he's okay, his neighbors are okay, but he is still trying to figure out what led up to all of this. Listen in. All of a sudden you just hear shots for like 20 seconds straight. Um, so I jumped on the floor. I'm trying to wonder what the hell is going on. Don't don't don't don't don't don't don't don't. So once I finally figured out everything was cool, I actually got up into my living room window and I'm looking at like the scene and they're telling them like, get out the car. All right, here's a live look at the aftermath. Once again, right here along south more land, you see the tire tracks, the debris, the broken pieces and parts from all three of those vehicles which have since been towed away.
