Further on in the course, students will be taught how to fly their drones through hoops suspended from the ceiling and positioned on the floor. And they will also have the opportunity to take part in drone races. So I'm teaching how to fly drones, how to lift them, how to use them, we are learning how to race because we have first racing in October. Airtek says the program is designed to teach children skills that may be useful in their future careers as well as to interest them in the technology. The launch of the program follows a recent surge in drone incursions, allegedly Russian, into European airspace. Other Baltic nations, such as Estonia, have introduced similar initiatives.

The Trump administration is awaiting word from the Supreme Court after asking it to allow the immediate deployment of National Guard troops to Illinois to protect Immigration and Customs Enforcement officers. A lower court blocked the move.
