He was then deported to a notorious prison in El Salvador, despite a 2019 order that granted him protection from being sent back to his home country. The Trump administration admitted he was sent there due to an administrative error, and he was brought back to the U.S. in June, where he was charged with human trafficking. The Trump administration has accused of Brego Garcia of being an MS-13 gang member. He has denied that and pleaded not guilty to human smuggling charges. The White House on Thursday rejected the judge's order to release him. The White House, the administration, opposed this activism from a judge who is really acting as a judicial activist. A Brego Garcia is present in our country illegally. The Department of Homeland Security says it's committed to continuing the legal fight against a Brego Garcia in the courts. His lawyer acknowledging there's still a long way to go. The legal fight is far from over.
