The charges against Comey come about one week after the president put public pressure on Bondi to go after the former FBI Director, California Senator Adam Schiff, and New York Attorney General Letitia James. President Trump called the indictment justice, not revenge, and added others could be prosecuted as well. It's not a list, but I think there'll be others. I mean, they're corrupt. These were corrupt, radical Democrats. Jessica Levinson is a CBS News legal contributor. She calls the Comey indictment unprecedented. Given that charges were brought against James Comey, which is an unprecedented moment, I think that we should expect that there could be more of these moments. Meanwhile, on Capitol Hill, the threat of a government shutdown looms, with a funding deadline set to expire next week. Well, we're going to see if the radical left Democrats want to shut it down. I mean, it's up to them. House Minority Leader Hakeem Jeffries and Senate Minority Leader Chuck Schumer were scheduled to meet with the president to discuss the funding stalemate, but Trump later canceled the meeting and said he would not meet with Democratic leaders until they become, quote, realistic with their demands. Democrats are here in the Capitol, ready, willing, and able to sit down with anyone at any time and at any place in order to find a bipartisan path forward to fund the government.
