We are demanding a revision of the electoral roll, we are demanding the reintegration of political leaders onto the list, we are demanding reform of the electoral commission, we are calling for fair elections in 2025. All these grievances have not been addressed by the government, so we came out to demand that the government reform its constitution. Eighty-three-year-old President Ouattara announced his intention to once again be candidate in July after changing the constitution in 2016 to remove presidential term limits. Let's avoid bloodshed because bloodshed is not good. But as the elections edge closer, the anger in Ivory Coast is unlikely to subside just yet.
