It's showing off its ability to work in retail stores fetching items from shelves. Galbet's head of overseas marketing, Yvonne Yuan, says it can operate fully autonomously in such environments. Basically, customers place order on an iPad, they receive the order, they'll go retrieve the product they received. And also they're working in warehouses, in factories, in pharmacies as well. Other companies showcased robots that can dance, while these look almost human. But one robotics firm brought a touch of Las Vegas flair to the show. Its robot can pick up a deck of cards and deal hands for a game of blackjack. Sharpa Global VP Alicia Veneziani said the demonstration highlights the robot's AI capabilities. Dealing cards is pretty difficult for a robot. So you see that it needs to manipulate an object that is flexible and thin. It's quite difficult and it does it pretty well. So this highlights the dexterity of our hands. Not only that, it needs to think through what's happening in the game and make decisions. So it also highlights the reasoning ability and the AI capabilities that we have to make robots interact with people and accomplish actions.
