Missile defence is point defence. I think that the target set has changed, so they're getting around the systems. As the Iranian volume of missiles fired has declined from like 40 missiles per salvo down to less than 10 per salvo, they have expanded the targeting area in order to avoid intercepts. So they're probably not having as much military effect, but they're obviously having a broader political effect. Earlier, a technology park in the south was hit. Among a range of international companies, it's also home to the Israeli military's C4I branch, an elite unit that provides technology for Israeli soldiers in combat. Israel's prime minister visited the Weizmann Scientific Institute that was hit last Saturday. 45 research laboratories were destroyed. The war will go on as long as it takes, Benjamin Netanyahu said, with or without increased US support. The goal that I set is to destroy the Iranian nuclear weapons programme and we have the capabilities of achieving it. The United States makes its own decisions. Support for the attacks on Iran remains strong here, with the latest poll showing 83% of Jewish Israelis approving of their government's actions. But Israel is increasingly physically isolated. The main international airport remains closed to scheduled flights, FedEx is no longer delivering packages and one of the world's biggest shipping companies, Maersk, will no longer make port calls at Haifa.
