The shutdown's impact continues to grow, with new polling showing declining approval for both political parties and the president. Meanwhile, the administration faces additional challenges, including a Supreme Court hearing on the president's use of emergency powers and heightened tensions with Nigeria.

Good evening, everyone, and thank you for joining us on this Sunday. Tonight Americans tell CBS News they are increasingly concerned about the impact of the government shutdown on the U.S. economy. A new CBS poll finds 54 percent of Americans now say they're very concerned, while 32 percent say they're somewhat concerned. And nearly two-thirds believe Congress is not even working to end the shutdown. Tonight on 60 Minutes, CBS News correspondent Nora O'Donnell sits down with the president. She spoke to him on a wide range of issues, including the impasse in Washington and its effect on Americans. What are you doing as president to end the shutdown? Well, what we're doing is we keep voting. I mean, the Republicans are voting almost unanimously to end it, and the Democrats keep voting against ending it. You know, they've never had this. This has happened like 18 times before. The Democrats always voted for an extension, always saying, give us an extension, we'll work it out. They've lost their way. They've become crazed lunatics. And all they have to do, Nora, is say, let's vote. Nora's complete interview is coming up tonight on 60 Minutes. Also tonight, the shutdown has entered a crucial week and closing in on a record length. CBS's Willie James Endman is traveling with the president in West Palm Beach with more on that part of the story. Willie James. Jerika, good evening to you. This weekend marks a critical point for millions of Americans as many face food insecurity, delays at airports and uncertainty about the cost of their health care. On day 33 of the government shutdown, more than 40 million Americans who rely on federal food assistance in limbo. This weekend, a federal judge said the Trump administration must use contingency funds to pay for SNAP benefits and give details about distribution by Monday. Treasury Secretary Scott Besant said the administration won't appeal, adding payments could resume as soon as Wednesday. There's a process that has to be followed. So we've got to figure out what the process is. Health care subsidies are at the heart of the shutdown fight, but the ripple effects felt nationwide. Staffing shortages at major airports across the country snarled air travel after air traffic controllers and TSA agents missed their first paychecks. Today on Face the Nation, Transportation Secretary Sean Duffy warns things could get worse. We want people to go safely, and so we will slow and stop traffic if we don't think we can manage it in a way that keeps people safe as they go from point A to point B. Tonight, new CBS News polling shows more than 7 in 10 Americans say they're at least somewhat concerned about the impact of the shutdown on them personally. Our poll also found growing disapproval of both parties and the president for their handling of the shutdown. What your poll indicated, people are pox on both your houses at this point. Get the darn thing. Jerica, this week the president's agenda faces another key test as the Supreme Court is set to hear oral arguments about the president's use of emergency powers to levy tariffs on American trade partners. Jerica? And Willie James, the president turned his focus to Nigeria this weekend. What is that about? Yeah, that's right, Jerica. The president is threatening potential military action against Nigeria, accusing the government of failing to protect Christians. Now over the weekend, the president sent out a social media post which threatened to stop all U.S. aid to Nigeria and may very well, he said that the U.S. may very well go into that country, quote, guns ablazing. The defense secretary, Pete Hegseth, responding to the president's post saying, quote, yes, sir. Jerica?
