Strong rain storms have caused more flooding in the Globe and Miami area, just two weeks after deadly flooding hit the same spot.

Globe and Miami, Arizona, have been struck by another round of flooding, following recent historic floods that caused widespread damage in the area. The latest flooding was less severe in Globe compared to the previous event, but Miami reportedly experienced more significant impacts. Damage from the earlier floods is still visible, with eroded sidewalks and vehicles displaced into local waterways. Residents, including those using drones to capture footage, continue to document the situation as recovery efforts are ongoing. Authorities and local media are monitoring conditions as the communities work to recover from consecutive disasters.

Nicole, you're finally there. What are you seeing? Hey, Ashley and Brian. The good news is those who I've spoken to within the town of Globe say this wasn't as bad as last week. Of course, we're still seeing here along 60 damage from last week's historic flooding. You can see part of the road over here, the sidewalk eroding. You can see some of the damage from, as we know, just dozens and dozens of cars that ended up into the canal Creek. Now take a look at the creek right now. It's not super high. It is running really quickly, though, and that's one of the things I want people at home to know is that even if this creek gets lower during the day, it is just the power of these flash floods and just the strength of these rapidly moving waters. And of course, earlier today, this water a lot higher. The creek was overflowing in some parts. You could see this is video that we had sent in today, including some drone video from Tristan Zamora. He says that he lives higher up above downtown, and so he got his drone out today. He wanted to showcase some of the footage. A lot of people have been paying attention to Globe the past week or so, as well as the Miami area. He wanted to show people what it was like today. Of course, this town just reeling still from that historic flooding last week, and just this was the last thing they wanted was more rain to come. He took his drone out here. I spoke to him this afternoon because something actually happened to his drone. I'll let him tell you while he was out there getting this footage. I ended up hitting a power line, and the power line just struck it down right into the water downtown. And I was able to go down there and retrieve it, and it has mud. I don't know if you can see it, but it has mud all over. I tried cleaning it, and I tried. I used the air compressor toe blow it out. Yeah, we thank him for sharing that footage, though. And since we did come up 1 77, we're actually gonna head closer to Miami. Now we're hearing that they got hit even harder than Globe this morning. So we want to go check in on that community. That's what we're gonna head and do now. But I'll send it back to you guys in the studio. We'll be back with more tonight at 89 and 10.
