Witnesses report that the aid is often dropped in random and unsafe locations, sometimes landing on tents or high places that are difficult and risky to access. Residents say the supplies are insufficient and the method of delivery is hazardous, compounding the challenges faced by those enduring ongoing famine and conflict since the escalation of hostilities.

I'm here today standing over what's left of these destroyed residential buildings in northern Gaza, where the airdrop took place in this exact area. We can clearly see a battle is going on between civilians here. Here the fight is not over food, but for survival. Hundreds of displaced Palestinians are gathering in order to maintain whatever they can find and whatever they can get to bring back home for their children. It's like a battle here. We come from far away and end up with nothing. Everyone is carrying bags of aid and we don't even manage to get anything. The planes are dropping aid for nothing. Look where they threw it, up there between the buildings. It's dangerous for us. There's even a bag hanging up high. It's too risky to go and get it. Just look at the people here. Residents here describe the airdrop aid as insufficient, random and unsafe as they drop it in random places. We can clearly see here tents, which the airdrop aid may be dropped on these displaced Palestinians who sought refuge in these exact areas. The situation here is apocalyptic, a battle and a fight taking place here amid the ongoing famine that has gripped Gaza since March 2nd. Israel only allowed a critical amount of food. It just dropped in the ocean. It's insufficient for these displaced Palestinians who are going through a lot of atrocities since Israel's war began.
