It's something that's been growing, especially since the massacre of October 7th. We're seeing a rise in it. The Israel-Hamas conflict is clearly being imported into France. There's concern over anti-Semitic incidents in other countries too. In Germany, a synagogue was targeted with Molotov cocktails. Parents of children at Jewish schools are particularly worried. I've asked my husband not to speak Hebrew to our son in the street. I'm really not an anxious person, but I always have this feeling that we're not safe. In the UK, there's an increased police presence around synagogues and volunteers are stepping up community patrols in Jewish neighbourhoods. In a number of low-level incidents, many people would not have reported these incidents, but in today's atmosphere, these touch people a lot deeper. At the same time, there's been an increase in reports of anti-Muslim incidents in the UK.
