First six jurors chosen for Trump's hush money trial

Manhattan DA Alvin Bragg asked the judge to fine the former president $3,000 after he made several posts on social media about two of the witnesses in the trial, his former attorney Michael Cohen and former adult film star Stormy Daniels. Bragg also asked the judge to issue a 30-day jail sentence for the violation which he declined to do. Now perhaps the biggest thing today, so far six jurors have been chosen, that's half the original panel, a lot more quickly than some had predicted. More than a hundred prospective jurors have been dismissed from the historic case, some because their posts on social media hint at bias. The former president accused of falsifying business records to hide hush-money payments to Daniels ahead of the 2016 presidential election. He denies having broken the law. Legal experts say it could take a couple of weeks to select a jury, but again things are moving more quickly than people expected. Six jurors already chosen today. The former president is required to be in the courtroom and faces the possibility of arrest if he's absent without the judge's permission.
