A single-car accident occurred on Westchester Avenue in Rye Brook, resulting in injuries to multiple people, including children. Emergency services from Rye Brook, Port Chester, and Purchase responded to the incident, which involved a car rollover and fire. 

Authorities reported that up to eight individuals were transported to a local hospital, with one person in serious condition. The cause of the accident remains under active investigation by local police.

We're on Westchester Avenue in Ryebrook, where Ryebrook police say the accident happened just behind me, past Port Chester Middle School. Now, according to Ryebrook police, there were children involved in the accident. According to Port Chester Fire Department, multiple first responder units, including Ryebrook, Port Chester, and Purchase, all responded to the motor vehicle accident involving a rollover fire around 5.10 p.m. Upon arrival, fire officials say the car was on fire and multiple adults and children were injured. As of 7 p.m. Saturday, up to eight people were transported to an area hospital. One person is in serious condition. The cause of the accident at this time is still being actively investigated.
