This includes medicines like insulin, inhalers and epi pens. While there isn't an exact time frame or temperature that impacts prescriptions with certainty, it's important to be proactive. That could be a problem, especially in our inland San Diego area where temperatures often soar, you know, in the nineties to the hundreds, especially right now in the summertime, she says. You should communicate with your pharmacy to plan out a delivery and collect the medicine right away. So it's not sitting out.
