The Melbourne Demons have re-affirmed their position as the second-best team in the AFLW with a dominant display over Sydney, recording a 44-point win.

The Melbourne Demons maintained their position in the top two of the AFLW ladder after a 44-point win against the Sydney Swans. Captain Kate Hall was highlighted for scoring a remarkable goal, considered a contender for goal of the year. 

In other AFLW action, the Kangaroos secured the top spot by scoring five goals in the opening term and defeating the Crows by 40 points. These results further shape the standings as the season progresses.
