After the fact this week on real talk with Micah smith, we're hearing from participants of restorative justice programs, including a man who participated in a fatal drive by shooting a mom whose son died in that shooting and a woman whose retail theft almost derailed her life. We communicate consistently, we live restorative justice and we live it on a regular basis. We're always confronting anything that makes us uncomfortable. He, I am mom, that's my son. I don't learn so much since I've been out that uh it's hard sometimes, but you got to, you got to sit back and you got to analyze. I'm like, okay, what can I do with the information that I have learned? I was able to get out of active addiction. I found out I was pregnant and I became a leasing agent now.
