Bob Weir, the legendary founding member of the Grateful Dead has passed away. He had deep ties to Colorado. Before six decades in the music industry, Weir spent time at Fountain Valley High School in Colorado Springs, according to our partners at Colorado Public Radio, where he met future Grateful Dead lyricist John Perry Barlow.
