Israel reopened the Kerem Shalom border crossing on Monday so that aid deliveries could recommence. Mediators have also dialled up efforts. A Hamas delegation headed to Cairo for talks with Qatar and Egypt. And US envoys Steve Witkoff and President Donald Trump's son-in-law Jared Kushner arrived in Tel Aviv to push on with the US deal that they helped broker. But experts say big questions still need to be answered for things to move forward, such as who will join a stabilisation force. I'm not sure what states are going to be willing to join up to the stabilisation force if they don't have a political horizon for the manifestation of a Palestinian state and the ending of the Israeli occupation. I think that's crucial. US Vice President J.D. Vance is also expected to fly to Israel to meet with Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu on Tuesday.
