The middle order, led by Kerry and Webster, staged a recovery with a 112-run partnership, both reaching half-centuries. Despite their efforts, Australia was eventually bowled out for 286, a total considered competitive given the pitch conditions and the opposition's batting strength.

But he was down to ground again. And again, they put the windies to the sword. Good timing. Both made half centuries in a 112 run stand. All the way. Kerry rode his luck in reaching the milestone. Gets the edge. He was dropped. Then his luck ran out. Straight to the fielder. Cummins got one that went under his bat. Webster ran himself out for 60 trying to keep the strike. Should be out.
