Clooney, a lifelong Democrat, mentioned that numerous senators, congressmembers, and governors share his view privately. He suggested that the Democratic Party should nominate someone else at its upcoming convention. Additionally, actor and director Rob Reiner expressed similar concerns on social media, emphasizing that the country faces significant threats that require younger leadership. Bronx Congressman Richie Torres also raised alarms about the potential negative impact on congressional races if Biden remains the nominee.

Amidst these calls, President Biden has reiterated his commitment to the presidential race. While hosting NATO leaders at a summit in Washington, Biden highlighted the accomplishments under his administration, including strengthening NATO's eastern flank. Despite the increasing pressure, Biden has assured that he is running to win and will not end his campaign.

Since I took office, we've doubled the number of battle groups at NATO's eastern flank. Biden has already said he is in the presidential race to win, and he is not ending his campaign.
