The next arctic cold front plunges across the upper Midwest and Northeast this weekend. Record cold high and low temperatures will be in jeopardy for some as readings drop more than 30 degrees below average. The worst of the cold will be felt across the Northern Plains, where extreme cold warnings are in place as wind chills could drop as low as minus 30 to 35 degrees this weekend.
