Meanwhile, Israeli airstrikes have reportedly killed at least 44 people, with Israel stating the attacks were in response to the killing of two soldiers by Hamas in Rafah. The Israeli military cited further violations of the ceasefire line and maintains control over more than half of Gaza. The Rafah border crossing between Egypt and Gaza remains closed, with Israeli officials saying it will not reopen until Hamas complies with all points of the peace plan and the ceasefire.

Aid trucks were seen bound for Gaza earlier today. They're carrying much-needed fuel, blankets, and food supplies. The deliveries reportedly flowing again, following pressure from the United States and the arrival of two of U.S. President Donald Trump's envoys. Palestinian officials say the latest Israeli airstrikes killed at least 44 people. Israel, claiming those attacks were a direct response to Hamas, killed two of its soldiers in the southern city of Rafah. Israel defense forces said that they saw more violations of the yellow line. That's the territory that they pulled back to as a part of the ceasefire agreement, and they consider everything on the other side of that yellow line an active combat zone. Israel still does control 53% of the Strip. We did ask the Israeli agency responsible for those aid shipments and movements into Gaza. It's called COGAT. As far as numbers of how many crossings were back operating, we did not get a response to that question. We do know that the Rafah border crossing between Egypt and Gaza remains closed. There are calls for that to reopen as soon as possible, but Israeli officials said that that will remain closed until Hamas adheres to all of the points of the peace plan and adheres to the ceasefire.
