Islamabad says fighters allied to Afghanistan's Taliban carried out the attack. Fighting flared last week after Pakistan struck targets in Afghanistan and Afghanistan responded. Some of the most intense violence has been in the Afghan border area of Spin Boldak with civilians caught in the middle. I was in my room with my two children. They were asleep when I suddenly heard a whooshing sound and I threw myself over them. The roof collapsed, bricks, doors and windows fell on us and I was hit on the head. My children were injured by falling debris. People were screaming and shouting everywhere. Islamabad has accused Afghanistan of harbouring armed groups that have carried out attacks in Pakistan, something the Taliban government denies. It's the worst violence between the neighbours since the Afghan Taliban seized power four years ago. Despite a temporary ceasefire, tensions remain high as cross-border incidents continue.
