NASA's Artemis II mission will be the first time astronauts operate the Orion spacecraft's controls and displays in space. CBS News correspondent Chris Van Cleve toured the Orion Mission Simulator at Johnson Space Center with astronaut Randy Bresnik, who explained the streamlined control setup and training regimen.

The Orion spacecraft features three main display units and significantly fewer switches than previous vehicles, with hand controllers for navigation and emergency procedures. Astronauts undergo extensive training to ensure instinctive operation of the spacecraft, preparing them for both routine and emergency situations during the mission.
