A seven-month-old baby was killed in Brooklyn, New York, after being struck by a stray bullet during a daytime shooting. Surveillance footage captured a gunman firing from the back of a scooter at approximately 1:15 p.m., with the infant being an unintended victim.

Police have taken one suspect into custody, believed to be the gunman, while the scooter's driver remains at large. Authorities suspect the shooting was gang-related and are urging the public to provide any information that may assist in the ongoing investigation.
