He also insisted that Russia has already compromised, noting that the ball is entirely in the court of Western opponents to end the war. While he accused Kyiv of not wanting peace, he also suggested the Ukrainians were ready for talks. And now they are refusing to end the conflict by peaceful means. Nevertheless, we do see, feel, and know of certain signals, including from the Kyiv regime, that they are ready to engage in some kind of dialogue. He also warned of consequences if Europe gives any of Russia's frozen assets to Ukraine. On Friday, the European Union announced an interest-free, two-year, 90-billion-euro loan to Ukraine — a relief for Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky. At a press conference with his Polish counterpart, he said that there was no more point in Russia continuing its assault on his country in light of the hefty financial backing, but also warned his European allies. Without Ukraine's independence, without our state's independence, Moscow will inevitably come here. They will come here and move further into Europe. Without our independence, Moscow will inevitably come for Poland. The 90 billion euros are slated to partially fund the government and defense over the next two years.
