U.S. House votes in favor of TikTok crackdown

The U.S. House of Representatives has overwhelmingly passed a bill that would give TikTok's Chinese owner ByteDance about six months to divest the U.S. assets of the short-video app or face a ban. The move is the greatest threat to the app used by about 170 million Americans since the Trump administration.
