A 15-year-old boy sustained a six-centimetre neck wound after a violent altercation involving teenagers in Manly Corso. The incident, which occurred just before 10 p.m., saw local businesses and patrons provide immediate first aid to the injured teen.

Police detained several boys at the scene, ultimately charging three 14-year-olds with multiple offences. Two of the boys have been released on bail, while the third, accused of reckless wounding, appeared in Children's Court. Locals noted that such violence has not been seen in the area for years.

I would never think anything like that would happen in Manly. That's wild and scary to think. That's insane. Local businesses and their patrons coming to the boy's aid, cleaning cloth and napkins used to stem the bleeding. Locals say this sort of violence hasn't been seen in the area in years. Being here for, what, 27 years now, being the owner of Manly Seaside, very rarely do I see any incidents like this happen and it's a shock to all of us. It's a bit of a throwback to the early 2000s. I mean Manly's cleaned up a lot, but this is a little hint of the past. At the other end of the Corso, police speak with four boys, another handcuffed and taken away by officers. His mate already in the back of a police car, finding the situation rather amusing. But it's no joke as he's whisked away to Manly Police Station. Three 14 year old boys have been charged with multiple offences. Two already released on bail, the third accused of reckless wounding faced Children's Court today.
