Sandra, police closed in on the 13-year-old boy at an East Maitland home at around 20 to 8 last night and he's now facing three charges including aggravated sexual assault. It all comes after police received a distressing report of an alleged attack on Monday evening. A woman aged in her 80s was walking through Brooklyn Park in Ashton Field when the teenager is accused of knocking her to the ground and sexually assaulting her before fleeing on a push scooter. The woman returned home and alerted her family who then raised the alarm and she was taken to hospital. Police launched Strike Force Bosgar appealing to the public for information before they descended on the boy's home last night. He faced Broadmeadow Children's Court today and was refused bail, Sandra.
