If you are a family of four, a typical family on a budget, look you can't go past the locally farmed barramundi so I'd give that a go but if fillets is your go for convenience, personal favourite of mine is ling, I already have that locked away. Something I haven't seen for a while is gemfish, quite a few of the shops are carrying it and something completely different that probably many haven't and every retailer is carrying it is your Red Gurnard fillets.
