It is just a policy to try and get the Leader of the Opposition through to Christmas. It abandons net zero, but so far hasn't boosted popularity. Fresh polling shows the Coalition's primary vote slumping to a record low and support for One Nation surging to a record high. On leader favourability, Pauline Hanson came in second to Anthony Albanese. She credits her hardline stance on immigration. That's the next item on the Coalition's agenda.
