A 25-year-old man, Martise Ryan, has pleaded not guilty to charges of first-degree murder and assault following a shooting inside the emergency room of MultiCare Alan Moore Hospital in Tacoma. The incident resulted in the death of one man and injury to a woman, who stated she did not know the suspect prior to the event. According to court documents, the shooting occurred after a brief exchange inside the ER, with no prior confrontation reported during the victims' arrival.

Police tracked Ryan using surveillance cameras and a phone number, leading to his arrest in Kittitas County two days after the shooting. Prosecutors revealed that Ryan had been listed as a suspect in six previous law enforcement incidents since 2012. The court has issued a no-bail hold while the case proceeds.

In which the defendant, who of course was afforded to his day in court, but based upon the facts, walked into a hospital and did the sack. 25-year-old Martise Ryan is now facing charges of murder and assault in the first degree for last Wednesday's shooting. According to court papers, the woman brought the man to the hospital because he had elbow pain. She said on their drive to the ER, they didn't have any issues. No one was following them. She said once they got inside the ER, Martise Ryan asked the victim why he was staring at him and the victim said he was not staring. That's when Ryan is accused of pulling out a gun and firing several shots at that couple. Police used surveillance cameras and a phone number to track down Ryan, who was arrested in Kittitas County two days later. Today, prosecutors said Ryan has been listed on six law enforcement incidents in the past as a suspect between 2012 to 2025. The court issued a no-bail hold.

Hamas on Monday informed mediators that it had accepted a ceasefire deal proposal submitted to it the day before, according to international and Israeli outlets.
