Although there was light rain in New Orleans on the evening of the game, the event took place inside the Caesars Superdome, which is climate-controlled. As a result, the weather had no impact on the outcome or experience of the Super Bowl.

Compare that with Philadelphia where temps were between 31 and 39 degrees on Sunday and Kansas City where the morning low was 21 and the high was only 38. There was some light rain Sunday evening in New Orleans, but the Super Bowl was held inside the climate-controlled Caesars Superdome, so it had no impact on the game.
