Rounds of stormy weather are set to impact parts of the Plains, Midwest and South this week, as an unsettled weather pattern continues. Places like Oklahoma City, Milwaukee and even Dallas, Texas could face severe storms.

A stormy weather pattern continues to affect regions from Wichita Falls through Dodge City, Wichita, Omaha, and as far north as Madison, Wisconsin. The influx of moisture from the Gulf of Mexico is contributing to the development of strong storms and increasing the risk of flooding in these areas.

The interaction of warm, moist air moving northward with areas of low pressure and daytime heating is expected to sustain cloud cover and rain chances. This ongoing pattern is likely to bring additional rainfall to regions that have already experienced significant precipitation.
