Search and rescue teams, along with family and friends, have been searching the area after his car was found near the trail, but dense woods and foliage have complicated the search.

Authorities from the Union County Sheriff's Office report that Hosh has not yet been found, but efforts to locate him are ongoing. Loved ones remain hopeful as the search continues in the challenging terrain of Blood Mountain.

Hosh was in northern Georgia with his brother and decided to take a short hike on a nearby trail. As usual, have it before coming home to Dallas. He likes to take a nature walk. On his favorite part of the Appalachian Trail on Blood Mountain Wednesday morning, Kate Morris, a friend and Hosh's wife, started to get the feeling that something was wrong. Late Wednesday morning his wife and I both were trying to get in touch with him and his son wasn't going to voicemail. It was going to just dropping the find my iPhone feature also didn't work.
