The request is simple. Pray for Lane signs scattered across Tampa. Tell the story of five year old Lane Nipper who remains hospitalized. Lane is a beautiful sweet little girl. She has the cutest bubbly personality. She's one of those little girls. When you look at her, it's it's really hard not to smile. Earlier this week I first spotted an electronic billboard at a business on Swan Ave in Tampa. It says pray for Lane. I tracked down a GoFundMe page on Lane's battle with viral meningitis. And encephalitis or swelling of the brain. It started with a headache and fever. Now she's been hospitalized for the past two weeks and remains in critical condition. Family friend Lindsey Baskin says strangers and friends have shown support for the Nipper family. If there's one beautiful silver lining in all of this, it's the way that the community has been putting their arms around the nippers and supporting them. Hundreds of yard signs have gone up at homes and businesses across Tampa. Local businesses like Dairy Joy donated a portion of sales to Lane's family Butterbug Boutique in Tampa is doing the same on Saturday, November 1st.
