Authorities credited the higher output to favorable reservoir response, well maintenance, and robust operational performance. Additionally, Senegal exceeded expectations in liquefied natural gas production, with LNG exports peaking at 0.5 million cubic metres in December 2025.

Senegal also exceeded its expectations regarding liquefied natural gas. LNG production reached its highest level in December 2025, with the export of 0.5 million cubic metres that month.
