Phil Banawitz, president of Bishop Miege High School in Roeland Park, has been removed from his role following an investigation into allegations of inappropriate behavior. The Board of Trustees communicated the decision via an email announcement, and Banawitz's last day was recently confirmed. 

The Archdiocese of Kansas City in Kansas had previously placed Banawitz on leave and later restricted him from all active ministry. The school’s trustees are now beginning the process of searching for a new president.
