Police in New York City are searching for up to four suspects following a mass shooting at a nightclub in Crown Heights, Brooklyn. The incident resulted in three fatalities and ten people recovering from non-life-threatening injuries. Authorities report that the shooting began after a fight and involved at least 42 rounds fired from multiple firearms. Victims ranged in age from 19 to 61, and the NYPD suspects the shooting was gang-related, consistent with broader trends in city violence. Investigators have recovered several shell casings and an additional firearm nearby, but the connection to the shooting is still under review. Police are urging anyone with information to come forward as the investigation continues.

And this morning, another search is on for the gunman involved in a mass shooting. This happened in Brooklyn Saturday night to Sunday night overnight. Here's the very latest. Thirteen people were shot, three are dead, ten recovering from non-life-threatening injuries. The NYPD says several gunmen opened fire, shooting off at least 42 rounds. Officials fear violence may follow in the form of retaliations. Today's Kendall Green is in Crown Heights with the hunt for these suspects. Surveillance video shows the moments of chaos that sent this crowd running for cover overnight, as dozens of shots rang out in a Crown Heights nightclub Sunday, claiming three lives. The shooting marks the second mass shooting in the city just weeks apart. When I looked up in the surveillance cameras while I was at my job, I see people running. Rayjean works within feet of that deadly shooting and heard the shots. Police say just before 3.30, they received multiple calls in response, telling us it started out as a fight. Police found 12 victims with gunshot wounds inside of Taste of the City, a nightclub on Franklin Avenue. A dozen victims were hit, ranging from 19 to 61 years old, including nine men and three women. Three of them pronounced dead, including 19-year-old Marvin St. Louis, who police say was shot multiple times throughout his body, along with 35-year-old Jamel Childs, also hit multiple times. He always was the dude, you could just see, calm, ladies man, always smiling, always smooth. Just smooth, I didn't expect that to be him on that floor like that. Police confirmed both victims died at the hospital, while 27-year-old Amadou Diallo suffered a gunshot wound to the head. He was pronounced dead there on scene. Police suspect the shooting was gang-related. Approximately 60% of our shootings in New York City are gang-related, and so we really see gangs driving so much of the violence in New York City. And a lot of our work in bringing the shooting numbers down so far this year has been because of our relentless focus on guns and gangs. It's believed there could have been up to four different gunmen after investigators recovered more than 40 shell casings from multiple guns, including a 9mm and a .45 caliber gun. Detectives, just hours into their investigation, recovered an additional gun near Bedford Avenue and Eastern Parkway, though they're still working to determine whether that gun was connected to the shooting as well. We have to make sure that we do everything that we can, including investing every resource possible, to ensure that we are eliminating the gun violence in our districts. Now at last check, police are still looking for up to four individuals in connection with this shooting. They're asking anyone who may have any information to reach out.
