Moments later, another officer can be seen approaching the camera and showing that he has the keys to Roberto's house. The Department of Homeland Security told CNN that on July 30th, agents from that department and the Border Patrol attempted to detain Roberto Reyes. They claim he is a dangerous undocumented alien facing criminal charges. Reyes told CNN that those charges arose after a dispute with a neighbor and were later dismissed. I have your car keys and your apartment keys. We will come for you, sooner or later. Reyes entered the United States with his family three years ago through the CBP One app, a tool later revoked by the Trump administration. Reyes claims there has been a constant presence of immigration authorities since the day they attempted to arrest him. So far, they have not presented him with an arrest or deportation warrant, he says, nor have they presented any search warrant. CNN asked the Department of Homeland Security whether there is a warrant against Reyes but has not received a response. Javier Hernandez, director of Inland Coalition for Immigrants, told Univision, a CNN affiliate, that Reyes fled Nicaragua due to political persecution.
