Natasha Lyonne, who stars and serves as an executive producer for the series, directed a couple of episodes herself. I got this thing I can just tell when someone's lying. It's kind of a thing I do. Season two of Poker Face continues the show's narrative while offering a dozen individual complete stories. It's kind of a lot more fun to kind of cut Charlie loose from the external on the run pressure and just make her kind of find her place in the world. And once we realized the case of the week mystery format of the show could sustain that, we decided to give that a shot. Maybe I'm figuring out how to finally start enjoying this journey, you know? She doesn't know she's in a murder of the week show. Like there has to be a legitimate, emotional, psychological, character-driven reason for her not to just jump in the Barracuda and go to the next town. Look me in the eye and tell me that you didn't kill her. There's so many great shows that are very narrative driven and you watch like six seasons of them. I also, though, find myself craving the shows I grew up watching like Quantum Leap or, you know, The A-Team or like the shows where it was literally you could drop in and watch one episode, you got a full meal. No one's fooled me yet. I'm gonna be the first. Star and executive producer, Natasha Lyonne, also took charge of a couple of episodes. If you're dealing with a famous actress, the best way to get her out of a chair is put her in a director's seat. She'll never look in the mirror again. You don't mean that, but flattered nonetheless. My feet start walking funny like Charlie Chaplin and I'm holding a monitor and looking over there and everything is kind of very alive and present. No business like show business, huh?
